Sauna's are actually magical spots. You enter a small heated room to rejuvenate and mediate. Meditate on health, and time, and the transformation of the body. It would be sacrosanct to do this in a building of right angles. We knew we had a to rebel against this tyranny of the right angle. The hexagon was our salvation. But how to attain a quality hexagon. Sure, it's just six 60 degree angles, but how do you connect this thing together? How do you give it structural integrity? I did a little plotting on graph paper, and it took a stab at it. Turns out notches help where long joists cross each other. There is even a few right angles involved. Once we got the floor structure figured we brought it out to the woods to assemble. It sits right under one of the hunting stands on the property.
